Anyway, Holly told me it was my turn to write a post, so here it goes. :-)
Yesterday I walked down to one of our ponds and watched the sunset. I was so amazed by the beautiful colors and the reflections on the water (not to mention the giant bass that I happened to see when I didn't have my fishing pole with me!). All I could do was sit there and thank the Creator. The Creator who not only created the orange fireball sinking below the horizon, but also the mosquitoes buzzing around me, the flowers I planted in my garden, the bluebirds in my box, my family, and me. And not only did He create all of us and all of this, He loves us with an amazing, glorious love. Even when we doubt His awesome power, He still loves us. When we spit on, mocked, beat, and put His Son, Jesus Christ, to death on the cross, this is what He did: "He erased the certificate of debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross." (Colossians 2:14) Even though we had all these sins against us, He forgave us and loved us enough to save us. To be continued...
